Peace At All Cost

Galatians 5:22-23

Pew Bible Pg. 948

I.  Peace does not come without conflict.

    A.  We must recognize the true conflict to realize the true peace.    Ezekiel 28:11-19, Gen. 3

    B.  Rebellion (conflict) against God is what requires peace.                  Gal. 5:20, James 4:1-7

II.  We must receive God’s peace provision, the finished work of Jesus Christ.         Rom. 5:1-2

    A.  Until this happens, we cannot have peace in our lives.

    B.  When we fully receive this gift, the Holy Spirit invades our lives with His peace.

                                                                                                                          John 14:25-27

III.  Christians should be factories producing peace.                                                  Matt. 5:9

    A.  The starting place if communion with God.                                                         Phil. 4:4-7

    B.  We then pray for and influence others for peace.                                               Luke 2:14

Do I know peace in my life or do I feel/know that something is not right?
